50010 — and other stories Traditional Italian style liqueurs. From Italy. To Ames, Iowa.
50010 isn't a name. It's a ZIP code — Ames, Iowa, where Alessandro, Sara, and David started making limoncello the way Sara's grandmother used to. Not to build a brand. Just to see if they could get it right. They did. Then someone said: what if we sold it?
From that moment on, every bottle became a story.
The naming system "& other stories" isn't a decorative subtitle — it's the structure of the brand.
Limoncello & other stories. Orancello & other stories. Lemon Drop & other stories. Every product declares itself part of a larger narrative. There's always another story to tell. Always another bottle to open.
Two souls Italy in the method. Iowa in the hand.
A typographic green border holds the tradition together; handwritten lettering, flat fruit illustrations, and peels that become graphic marks speak to the present — an American, agricultural present, without nostalgia.
The illustration system maps the process: whole, cut, peeled.
The peel goes into the Limoncello and the Orancello.
The flesh goes into the Drops. Nothing is wasted.
Zero-waste as a design language, before it's a production practice.
